Uganda national parks are 10 in number and include Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable, Lake Mburo, Kidepo Valley, Queen Elizabeth, Mt Elgon, Mgahinga, Semuliki and Mt Ruwenzori. Of these, the most visited national park is Queen Elizabeth. The park, with various habitats, harbor great wildlife including the Big Four ( lions, Elephants, buffaloes and leopards). Queen Elizabeth national park with great lodges, has a number of activities that can be enjoyed fully in only 2 days.
Entrance Fees for visiting Uganda National Parks
To visit the Uganda national parks, entrance fees for the above conservation areas are as below:-
- $40 for non residents
- $30 for foreign residents
- $20 for non residents aged between 5 – 15
- UGX 20,000 for East African citizens
