This 4 Days Rwanda gorilla tour involves double gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park. Track two gorilla families in the park within two days and conclude your tour with a visit to Dian Fossey tomb at Karisoke Research Centre. This tour is ideal for gorilla enthusiasts and offers a chance to interact with them twice in their natural habitat. Volcanoes national park has about 12 habituated gorilla families and you will have an opportunity to meet two of them.

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park. (3hrs drive)
You will be picked from the hotel and go for an OPTIONAL city
tour to the genocide memorial and local markets and later drive northwards to Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura Hotel(Budget)/Davinci lodge (deluxe) / Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge/ Five Volcanoes hotel(Luxury).
Day 2: 1st Mountain Gorilla Tracking and afternoon cultural walk
In the morning, your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing together with your trekking gear, some snacks and drinking water and ascend in the forest to track the gorillas. Upon reaching, them, you will be given a maximum of 1hr to be with them before returning to your lodge for a late lunch. In the evening, you may go for cultural walk to Iby'wachu village for a cultural experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Muhabura Hotel(Budget)/Davinci lodge (deluxe) / Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge/ Five Volcanoes hotel(Luxury).
Day 3: 2nd Mountain Gorilla tracking
In the morning, you will report at the park headquarters for briefing
before heading for your second gorilla trek, this time with a different
gorilla group. On return you will relax at your lodge or take a nature
walk to the twin lakes. Overnight at Muhabura Hotel(Budget)/Davinci lodge (deluxe) / Tiloreza Volcanoes Eco Lodge/ Five Volcanoes hotel(Luxury).
Day 4: Golden monkey tracking and Transfer back to Kigali
In the morning, you will assemble at the park headquarters for briefing before proceeding to track golden monkeys. Once you come to them, you are given a maximum of 1hr to observe them before returning. On return, you will transfer back to Kigali for drop off at the airport or hotel.
